"Not much brand variety"

"Seafood didn’t seem fresh"
I picked up shrimp and salmon last week, both smelled off as soon as I opened the packages. The texture was mushy too, so I ended up throwing most of it away. When stuff like that happens, you kind of feel like just another ticket number instead of someone who spent real money on food. I don’t think I’ll be buying seafood there again, it just doesn’t feel worth the risk.

"Their online inventory drives me crazy"
I’ll admit I might be extra annoyed because I rely on Restaurant Depot for my business, but their online inventory has been wrong so many times for me. I’ll check restaurantdepot.com, see that something is listed as in stock, make the trip over, and then half the stuff I needed is nowhere to be found. It feels like such a waste of time, especially when you’re trying to grab supplies quickly and get back to work. I really wish they’d update the site more accurately.

"Way Too Much Hassle"
There were lines everywhere, and it felt like every little thing required another step or another wait. The staff seemed overwhelmed and confused by the crowd, which just made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be

"I started using restaurantdepot expecting the bulk…"
I started using Restaurant Depot expecting the bulk prices to be a lot cheaper than what I’d find at local stores, but that hasn’t really been my experience. Some items are a decent deal if you’re buying huge cases, but a lot of the prices are either the same or only slightly better. For smaller restaurant orders, it doesn’t always feel worth the extra effort. I still check it sometimes, but now I compare everything first instead of assuming it’s cheaper. It’s useful here and there, but the prices really need to be more competitive.

"Great for Stocking Up, If You’ve Got the Space"
I usually hit up Restaurant Depot when we’re planning a big family cookout or when I just need to stock up on stuff. the prices can make you feel like you found a secret hookup, especially on meat, cups, and cleaning supplies. Then reality kicks in when you get home and realize you have to figure out where to put everything. That part can be a little stressful, not gonna lie. But if you buy in bulk often, it’s definitely worth it and I always end up glad I went.

"Reliable for Weekly Stock-Ups!!"
I usually shop for the week, and most of the time the stock is consistent, which makes planning a lot easier!! Every now and then a few things sell out, but overall restaurantdepot has been reliable enough for what I need.

"Convenient Early Hours"
I’ve always liked that Restaurant Depot opens early because I can usually run in and grab what I need before my day gets hectic. I just kind of assume the hours will work for me most of the time, and they usually do. My only thing is I wish my local store stayed open a little later on certain days, because that would make it even easier. Overall though, it’s been convenient, and I haven’t really had problems checking the hours online before I head over

I’ll be fair and say this might depend on the time of day, but my experience has been that finding parking here is almost always a hassle. I usually end up circling around for a while, which gets frustrating.

"Staff could definitely be more professional"
I went to Restaurant Depot the prices were decent, so no complaints there. But the staff attitude kind of ruined the experience. I asked one employee where something was and he acted like I was bothering him, which felt unnecessary. Checkout also felt rushed even though the store wasn’t that busy. I even tried mentioning it afterward, but it felt like nobody actually read the message or cared. It’s not the worst place to shop, but they really need to work on how they treat and talk to customers.

"Refund came through, but instructions could be clearer"
I had to return an item that was sent wrong, and while the refund did take a few days, it eventually came through. Support was fine and it wasn’t a huge hassle overall. I just wish the return instructions and updates were a bit clearer and faster along the way...

"Still Worth the Trip for Bulk Shopping"
I think Restaurant Depot is solid, and I don’t really get why people complain so much. If you need bulk stuff, it’s convenient to be able to grab meat, frozen items, dry goods, and paper supplies all in one stop. Yeah, every now and then something is out of stock or they move things around, which can be annoying, but that happens pretty much anywhere. Overall, it saves me time and I usually leave with what I came for.

The staff did help me find what I needed, which I appreciated, but the checkout line took way longer than I expected and it didn’t really feel like anyone was in much of a hurry. I kept wondering if I was missing something or if it was just a busy moment. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I would’ve felt a bit better if someone had acknowledged the wait or reassured us it was moving along.

I’ve had some good experiences here, and a lot of the veggies do look fresh. But the last time I went, a few items seemed like they’d been sitting out a little longer than they should have. Kind of disappointing, because I expected better
